Ride For A Change

As hosts of the very first cycling event to raise national awareness and funds for the prevention of repeat sex offenses, The ALLY Foundation was honored to have 12 outstanding Ride for a Change participants on September 23, 2006! We were humbled and inspired by each and every one of our dedicated riders, who conquered challenging hills and even endured two hours of continuous torrential downpours to complete the 50 mile bike ride along Cape Ann! These guys and gals were troopers and deserve all of your support!

Faces For A Change

The last Faces for Change Party was held on April 15, 2005 at the State Room, atop 60 State Street. The event was a huge success with several hundred party-goers and many volunteers dedicated to making the night a success.

Beacon Rock Gala

Beacon Rocks...For A Change!  ALLY friend and supporter Brian Cunha generously opens his home for this once a year Gala held at his estate, Beacon Rock Mansion.   Beacon Rock is a McKim, Mead and White designed mansion commissioned by Commodore Edwin D. Morgan in 1887 that boasts 25,000 square feet and is known as the Acropolis of Newport for its iconic marble colonades and temple-like facades which took years to complete.  Bon Vivants from all over the Eastern Seaboard and Florida come to enjoy a night of fun at this historic venue.  The party has a different theme every year and includes complimentary libations, hors d'oeuvres, raw bar, auction opportunities, entertainment and captivating panoramic views.  Brian Cunha was a personal friend of Alexandra Zapp, who frequented the mansion when she lived in Newport, which makes the night a special testimony to her.  Her friends from Boston and Newport alike, many of whom are a part of the sailing world that she participated in and loved so much, share fond memories and "Ally" stories while raising funds to support our mission.

The evening is considered one of the "Best Of" Newport events and has been featured in Newport Life Magazine, Boston Common Magazine and on the television show "High Net Worth".
